GMs, EMs, Advisors, and tickets being answered?! Oh my. :)

Seeing advisors and EMs on Atlantic regularly lately. An advisor Sagitar was just hanging out in Luna bank for a while talking in General and answering questions. Was really cool and was like talking to another player. I thought it was great. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and the atmosphere of the chat was very excited for the new expansion. There were concerns about the gold system, but Sagitar never got frustrated. Was the best conversations I've seen in game in a while.

Kudos.

Even saw an GM with Sagitar on another day near Haven bank helping a returning player out with a ticket... I'm excited for the game.

Yeah the GM and Advisor staff are clearly under instruction to be really visible lately. I've seen them at the bank helping with stuff that usually they would take someone aside to talk about.

I posted a few weeks ago that I had a GM show up pretty quickly and try to help me out, certainly improved from what we've seen the last few years.

Every time I see EM Chance at Lake Superior Luna bank, I ask him to make my character taller. And last time, he really tried, he cast a spell and everything. "Vas Rel Taller," I think.

We have/had an Advisor on Siege, he/she was good at coming into Gen Chat just long enough to say "Ok, I"m going to my shard to play, bye".

Hey maybe squawking and complaining about ineffective leadership and corrupt EMs etc has shaken things up a little....
A little revolution every once in a while is a good thing...you Americans should know that!

Or maybe the developers are giving away an expansion for free soon, expect an influx of players, know that worthless customer service has been an overwhelming sore spot for at least the last ten years, and have asked their staff to increase their public visiblity.

But no it was totally some Stratics thread that 12 people posted in to whine about the EM program. Hur hur.

Broadsword is taking steps to improve the game overall. New expansion and additional employees are huge steps. Now they have put out a Newsletter. Progress might be slower than we like, but it's a lot more than we have come to expect from EA. Kudos to the Dev Team for all the hard work they put in week after week.
