GM Calls

I'm just curious as to the experience everyone has had in WoW with GM calls.

I've only placed a call twice, and each time, the GM came within like 30 minutes, was VERY courtious and tried to make sure I was OK after they fixed whatever was wrong.

All in all, a very pleasant experience. I was just wondering if this was the norm, or if I was incredibly lucky.

Anyone else place help calls?

In my two years I have called twice and both times I got the help I needed.

The first time, on my very first day in game, my Night Elf Druid fell off of a cliff in the noob Nelf land and I could not get my body, coming from UO I thouhht for sure I had to get my body, but a GM came, and I watched my body get pulled up off the edge of the cliff for me to rez.

The second time, on my Dwarf, I got stuck in the wetlands on one of the docked, unmoving boats, the one just across from the boat to Darn area. I jumped down into the boat and could not for the life of me get out, not knowing about the stuck feature, I called a GM and they moved me.

Both very positive experiences. And both within about 5 minutes of calling.

LOL, I'm SOOOO glad to hear I'm not the first UO-vet who made the same mistake in the Night Elf lands!

I had the same experience with my first character (NE druid). Fell off the cliffs when I logged on early in the morning and had no idea where the beach was or how I would get back. I sent a message to the GM, left for work, and came back to a nice message and rez'd back on the island. Definitely a great experience for a newb
