you get that message when have a 'classic' quest - you can only take one of those at once. I've not come up against the 10 quest limit on the newer quest engine before. Possibly because no one had that many quests active at the same time before?

I've got a problem with the quest for the goblin talisman. I accepted the quest. About half way to the end my escort went poof. I canceled the quest but now the guy tells me I already have a follower.

They need to apply this same policy to Twisted Weld. Can't tell ya how many times I have gone in there and seen fifty Cu's that folks have just tamed and released...

But they arent the ones who were around/in charge when this quest system (And its likely cap) were put in. And before now was there ever really a reason to remove that cap?

The Dark Lady has been around UO for a very long time, I have a Reindeer and a Sleigh with her name on them. That would put her her well before those quests.
