Gifts and Rewards question...

This is something that has annoyed me for so long that I finally have to ask about it... I'm looking at my 14th Anniversary Gift ticket and see some items that I know nothing about - and a search here or the Wiki doesn't help.

Examples are:
Mannequin Deed
Virtue Tapestry Deed
Ancient Stone Planter
Grecian Planter
Modern Stone Planter
Oak Barrel Planter

And from the 12th Anniversary Gift tickets
Codex of Virtue
Ultima Banner
Silver Sapling Replica

How/why is it that items are released in UO with no information on them published? Yes, I'm sure that a search of threads here might give some info, I'm just bi*chen about UO not doing it.

Thx much, Larisa. At least I can see what they look like. I guess my b*tch is more that we have to wait for players to post info... How freekin hard is it to include info in Publish or Event News?

I ask myself the same question. I know that most of us are very visual people, whenever a new item comes out the first question people ask is..*What does it look like?*

Which is why I tend to post alot of pictures lol. I think we can add the pics for those items on the new site, I'll have to see about that, actually I suggested it when they came out but then totally forgot about it.

Of course JC is always on top of it and puts the new stuff up almost immediatly on UO Guide, usually with pictures, sometimes not but at least it's there.

That would really be nice and I'm sure a LOT of players would REALLY appreciate it if you could.

We all appreciate the effort put into the Guide - however, pls note that none of the items in my original post are present in the Guide (and some of them are from 12th Anniversary tickets...)

Thanks for asking this... I have often felt the same way. Having an item description provided would be great. I also like to see what the item looks like, but it would be a GREAT addition to the game if the devs could work in an item description to the ticket menu. For example, are the planters here deco only or can they be used like the new raised garden beds, but for only one seed at a time? I am sure that this has been covered in some other thread somewhere. However, these days I am getting older and between a full-time job, working on my masters degree, and family responsibilities I do not have the time to play the game as I did when I was younger, let alone spend hours researching every new item.
