Giant (blue) Beetle come with 100 Hits/150 Strength. Is it possible to raise Hit Points to 125 Hits with fighting before starting training ?

In order to save up on training points, I was wondering whether it is possible to raise the Hit Points, somehow, before initiating the pet's training, to 125 Hits through fighting.

I am not sure whether this can be done because it also comes, freshly tamed, with 150 strength but hey, sometimes weird things can be done in the game so I thought to ask anyways...

Can this be done ? If so, how, fighting what ?
