GGS is broken

At least for me. Poison will not raise a .1 regardless of how I try (food, attack, poisoning a blade). Is anyone else having that problem?

BTW, GGS does seem to be working in some areas...
I am GM Joker, GM Smoker, but still stuck at 66.4 for Midnight Toker.

I heard the EA Quality Assurance Director can help me GM that in no time, though.

Are you at the (real) skill cap?
Do you have skills pointing down?
Are you using the right level of poison? (@ 66.4 you should be using greater)

It also seems to help if you stay on the tile you started training on that day and repeatedly poison the same dagger.

I spent 2 hours trying to get one .1 in Tinkering (90.6 real ATM) and not a darn thing. Lockpicks, spyglasses, scales. Nada ... burned over 20 tinker toolkits with >100 uses each.

Switched to the Tailor ... gained several 10ths within a couple minutes. So GGS ain't broke ... it's lopsided and unfair!

You have to GGS off Greater poison from like 75-95...
Deadly will not give you GGS gains (poisoning or infection strike)

stop complaining everytime you think somethings wrong with the game, theres a dozen things you need to try to fix your problem and i'm not about to list them, do like everyone else did and play the game to figure it out.

I made GM Poison for the third time one month ago. The last time was the easiest and done with UO Assist following the stratics poisoning guide, and took about a weeks time casually playing.

Here is the UOAssist macro I use:
Use item type
Use Skill/ Poison
Target Item Type (Kegs)
Target Item Type (dagger)
Delay 12 Seconds repeat till Done.I ran it in sets of 100 times each.

Always have Multiple Kegs in your Pack so UOAssist will use a different Keg each time the macro runs, eat food , walk around, jump facets, run in and out dungeons every so often and every now and then kill yourself.

In the 90s range I used 3 greater poison kegs and one deadly poison keg each time until they were done.UO Assist will hit each keg in your pack as it runs.

Sometimes with GGS and Poisoning at higher levels it takes many chances to get your gain. I tried it that way with my second poisoner and it was pure hell.

I have noticed with my lumberjack, 99.1 that the gains are 24 hour based, and not server up based. Log in at noon, gain .1 then the next day log in at 10 am and you gain nothing. But log back in after 12 noon, and tada there is your ggg at .1 at least for me this is how it is working

My char has 544 total skill points.
Poisoning is not locked nor pointing down.
I generated him with 50.0 poisoning over a year ago.
After thousands of attempts, not even a .1 increase.

Even after the 24 hours since last login. Every one of my characters gets that 24-hour .1 gimmie when I try to raise any other skill.

That character is obviously mentally challenged. Soul stone skills and delete him/her and create a smarter toon.

What level of poison are you using and what method are you using to gain?

I once got stuck oin the skill, i switched up my poisons levels and got gains...maybe try that?
