Getting the correct number of scrolls?

I just finished doing a Lost Lands champ with just one other person and myself. He got 2 scrolls and I got 4. However the protector got no scrolls at all. We checked and both chars were still protected. edit : the protector was Knight of Justice.

I'm quite certain no one else was around as it's very late at night and we saw nothing to indicate that anyone else was there. Besides, if someone had come by and hit our spawn we wouldn't have gotten a total of 6 scrolls on our chars.

Ever since the champ drop was changed there have been scrolls missing every single time. Not once have we gotten all 12 scrolls. But this is the first time that the protector got none at all.

Is this happening to everyone else?

Was the protector near the people getting the scrolls? You have to be within 90 tiles now or the protector gets nothing.

This is happening to everyone else. The 90 tile radius is too small. I think they should make the 90 tile radius much larger because champ spawns areas are larger than 90 tiles. The protector could be legititmately doing something on other side of area, oh idk maybe fighting raiders or killing spawn for sots? Also, I think the same area requirement should be implemented for replica's. You can work first and second level spawn at tortoise and city of dead, i think also marble and damwin then sit in del nice and safe and wait for someone to go actually finish the spawn and get a replica.

The protector got the message, that he/ she wasnt close enough to get the scrolls. Probably 6 times aswell havent done that many spawns but all scrolls have always been accounted for. Even is red spawners had got them sometimes and such, but havent missed out any of the 6+6 without any sources to the misshappening. The total area from left to right or north to south of a spawn is about 85 tiles. So normally you will never miss out on any scrolls if the protector is actually there.
