Getting stuck with UOA.

This is the 2nd time I did this. I shoulda known better. I recently completely wiped my computer and reinstalled everything including UO. I've been playing without UOA ever since.

When I tried it before, whenever I go to Malas (I haven't tried Tokuno yet), everything except NPCs and a few other items appears completely black. If I use UOA and stay in Felucca, it works fine. When I close it and open it (without UOA) again, my character is stuck in one place. I can talk and use skills but I can't turn or move.

Last time I paged a GM and he unstuck me on the spot.

I'm going to have to do this again.

Is UOA not patched right or something? Other problems?

I honestly think its a uo problem. Since the last patch I have been getting big blacked out spots in the corners of my screen that are not normally there. My uoa works fine. The escorts are broken again also.. I bet 10 to one that some brilliant mind at mystic has been at work again.
Is your disk uo-r? I know they posted that they were no longer going to support it and you would have to use a newer disk to install uo.

Why aren't the GM's consistent?

Last time it took less than a minute. It sounded like he just flipped a switch and I was able to move again. This time I get a link to EA technical support.

"Unfortunately, this is a tech support issue."

It's as if step 1 = look for keywords in the help message sent. Last time I sent a message saying "Help. I can't turn or move." This time I mentioned UOA. Who thinks they'll come if I make it sound more like the first message?

I'll try tomorrow.
