Getting out of Ethereal Fortress

I suppose the ethereal tomb is an appropriate place to remain when you're dead, but it ges pretty monotonous running around trying to figure out how to leave it! maybe this is what being dead is all about, relentless, incredibly frustrating ineffective action.

nonetheless, if anyone has any suggestions on how to get out of the ethereal fortress short of summoning a gm, please lemme know.

If you mean back to the spider cave it's simply the same way you came in via the teleporter, if you have good karma and find one of the etheral warriors i think they will res you, happened to me anyway.

I got stuck in there while dead and I could only go back as far as the first place that you drop down into after saying "masteropenthydoor" while standing on the parchment. I couldn't figure out how to get back "up" to the room with the ghouls and skellies. I ended up running back to the room at the end where you get your note for Ulrich and just hanging out until someone came along and could res me.

Just run up to the same place you get ported when you enter and you should find yourself out in the corridor. No need to say a password when leaving.

i tried doing that SO many times and i guess i just didn't stand there long enough. just stood there for like 4 seconds and *poof* i was teleported back up to the hallway thanks SO MUCH!!! that sure beats waiting for someone (hoping for someone) to come along who can rez me at the end after getting my note for Ulrich!
