Getting dismounted in animal form

A guild member got dismounted as she was in Ki-Rin Form. Is this how it should work? I thought Animal Form was something against getting dismounted.

It was, but now it isn't. Bolas work as well. Changed a while ago it was.

Personally, it doesn't make sense to me how a bola or weapon can knock them out of animal form. It should be a spell that should do it, but ah well.
