General Chat- Ignore?

Is there a way to ignore a particular person's chat in general chat?

Just use the regular ignore or filter speech tab and it will pop up a selection of those people that are in your chat and you can select them to be ignored.

Thank you someone on chat channel was able to tell me. I didn't realize you had to "double click" the add new. Only problem is I put the person on ignore, and they simply create a new charector and go on and on about nonsense and being rude about anyone and anything. I wonder how many times I can add them to ignore before it is filled up? I think half the shard is having to do the same thing I'm having to do. I guess it takes all kinds to make up our world of UO. LOL

Half of the server has this individual on ignore now. I think 4 or 5 of the names on my list are that person and its nice and quiet for me. Has been for weeks. Just keep at it.

Aye it is the most hateful, and obnoxious person I have ever heard! And I have heard lots in the past. This one beats em all!!! I will keep hitting ignore on this person's many many charectors, maybe one day I will get them all.

Yes.
You also can't see the spells they cast, which is a huge pain in the arse for PVP and why there should be a difference in General chat ignore and in game ignore, imo.

So... kind of an exploit to spam annoying nonsense in chat to try to get everyone to ingore you, so you can't see their incoming name and spells. Just not right..

I feel your pain and you have my utmost sympathy. Why on earth the GMs can't do SOMETHING about these kind of players is completely beyond me.

We have two resident boneheads on Legends.

One is just a general jerk cusses people, puts people down and generally griefing everyone he can.

The other bonehead is quite possibly worse besides being completely rude and greifing; he also loves to talk about his sex life in Vulgar, Disgusting, GRAPHIC detail.

I mean really nobody cares who or WHAT you are sleeping with and as my best guy-friend growing up once told me..."If a guy is sitting there braggin' about all he's gettin, then he ain't gettin' nothin!!"

I and others on my shard have paged on them both, put both of em on ignore and still they continue.

I did over hear something while skulking around on my miner char that no one knows or notices. Bonehead #1 was bragging to another person that after he figures out his chars are on ignore by most of shard(usually because no will talk to him in chat) he simply stones all his char's skills, deletes char and make new one with same name. DOH! -.-****

I hope someone with the cajones to do something at EA-Mythic-Bioware(WTHever the name is) reads this thread.
