Gems?

Is there any market for these at all?

I just started my miner back up and have a bunch of them sitting in a chest.

When Ml came out, I was selling gems for around $2K-3K each. Now, the very few places I see them at all are in Luna, and priced something like $400K for 10!

Seems the price should be going down, not up.

Did I miss something?

Script miners got distracted by blackrock elementals that don't allow for the easy reacquisition of one's lost goods.

Gems sell now for a very nice margin, depending on the type.

I'll stick with my gems. At least until SA comes out and we're getting closer informations on how the 'crafting improvements' will work. (There was a statement, that crafter will be able to choose/influence properties on crafted items in a not closer named way. I hope that will work for tinkering + jewelry, too. And gems dont come that often.)

I sell none of mine, and I completely agree.. it takes one hella long time to get a decent-sized heap of rare gems to attempt tinkered items.

I'm hoarding them in hopes that things will get better. And hoarding sounds a lot better than.. I drop two or three in the gem box every other day or so.
