Well... I fought a Garg Tamer today and he was killed & should have been put in STAT multiple times yet he came back each time within minutes like he was not. He even said that GARGOYLES are currently bugged & do not go into stat... I can't say for sure it's true, but it's worth testing really quick.

Just purposefully died on my gargoyle SL and am definitely in stat.
