Gargoyles... New Playesr?

So, we've got a new race coming in, Gargoyles, which it looks like you're going to have to start a new character for. Which, ofcourse means New Haven, or does it?

There are going to be Gargoyle only aspects of their land, and it seems like they're strictly from there. Does that mean SA is going to introduce a Gargoyle only starting area?

Funny story, that.

When we first announced SA we were so excited to say "Oh hey! In *this* expansion we're not doing that whole find-your-lost-heritage thing where you have to feed the entire Elven kingdom and trek across all creation to embrace your lost bloodline. No quest, no conversion! Cool huh?" To which the community response, if I remember correctly was: WHHHhhhhaaaattttttt????!!!!

Not saying it'll necessarily be quest - there'll be a way to convert your characters though.

Well if a player creates a new character as a Gargoyle, I would imagine that one spot that might be used for a Gargoyle starting area would be the Gargoyle city in Ilshenar.

That is, of course, if they don't automatically teleport you to New Haven like they always do with new characters.

There'll be a way to convert an existing character to Gargoyle. What, we don't know. Only that there will be a way.
