Gargoyles and Quests

After doing some research, i decided that i want my crafter to be a gargoyle. I will miss the strong back and joat but if i understand correctly, there is no quest to become gargoyle if you are a human? I already upgraded to SA but i don't see where or how to become a gargoyle (without creating a whole new toon of course).

Also, what is the queens forge and how do i get to it. Is it that one in the middle of the town where those powerscroll quests are? Where are all the quests that can earn you points to use the queens forge.

I'm sure this is stuff i can find eventually on my own but searching Google points to old stratics posts which leads to the main new stratics page and not the page that contains the information you are looking for.

The queens forge is inside the queens palace to the NE of the forge in the square.

I beleive it is upstairs, but to be honest, I marked a rune near it so that I would never have to walk up all those steps to get to it again. You do need loyalty pts to use the queens forge (15K I think).

I got themn doing the hunters quest (north of the square, the quest from the blacksmith guy about killing those black abyss creatures or void creatures or whatever they are (just SE of the forge in the town square I believe) and the museum quests.

As far as changing races from human to gargoyle, I do not believe there is a quest, so you need to start from scratch, but you can soulstone off any skills you may want before deleting a character if you are goin ghtat route (if you dont have a spare charcter slot empty). Just makew sure you clear his bankbox before deleting...and make sure he is not your house owner.

Check the store at origin.com and look for the Character Reincarnation Token. It costs $19.99 USD and lets you change your character's name, sex, and race. (You can also get individual tokens for $9.99 to just change gender or name, but I don't see anything that is just for changing your character's race.) One of the early ordering bonuses for the SA expansion in 2009 was a nice little pile of tokens for statues and race changes. If you're lucky, maybe you can find someone in-game who still has an unused race change token that they would be willing to sell to you.
