Gargoyle Flight Paths broken?

On two different accounts our Gargoyle characters failed to make use of the Gargoyle Flight Paths. We tried it in the Abyss, in the Ter Mur Boura Park, near the Tomb of Kings and also from one of the towers in the Royal City in Ter Mur. (This is on Europa btw.) Does anyone else have that problem? Or are we doing something wrong? Just needs flying right? We are sure we have done it in the past... Since it is on different accounts we feel it shouldn't be just a bugged character?
