What are the most effective dexer templates for a Garg?

I have been toying with the idea of reforging a stone 55 LMC suit for a Garg Dexer and pretty much assumed that I would template him as a Wraith thrower. However, given the immense effort that looks as though it will be needed to obtain enough granite, let alone the runic mallets, to do the job properly, I don't want to mess up and miss a better option.

This was intended for PvM though Throwers can be very effective in PvP I know. Is there anything better and how would you balance the suit/template?

just looking for ideas..;p

In last patches they:
- reduced a Soul Glave damage
- increased bows damage
- increased bows max imbue weight
- decreased a Gargoyle HCI cap

I believe an archer is better than a thrower now days. Although a good bow costs 30-40m while a good soul glave costs 5m.

Gargoyle advantages are:
- ability to fly
- good 1H weapon (Disc Mace)

Good templates for gargoyles are:
- mystic thrower
- classic paladin (with a shield)
- (may be) mystic macer

If you are going to be a Wraith thrower I suggest you play in melee style (using curse weapon to leach life). This means - don't hit and run but just stay and fight. Reasons are low movement speed and throwing range issues.
throwing 120
tactics 100
anatomy 100
bushido 80
chivalry 95
necro 40
spirit speak 70
resisting spells 120
(use skills on jewels to get more tactics/anatomy/spirit speak)

p.s. I have never tried it myself so it's just a theory without practice.

I suggested Resisting Spells because you have real chances to die if you're mana-drained at the moment when you're going to recast Cursed Weapon. And even you're just paralyzed you can get problems.
You can replace Resisting Spells with Healing.

You can also use Mysticism/Focus instead:
throwing 120
tactics 100
anatomy 0
bushido 80
chivalry 95
necro 40
spirit speak 70
mysticism 120
focus 120

But in this case probably better to go without necro and use advantage of ability to fly (move fast) with RC on.
throwing 120
tactics 100
anatomy 100
bushido 80
chivalry 95
mysticism 120
focus 120
Cast mass sleep (may be even from a spell stone). While monsters sleep cast RC and move slightly back allowing them to agro on RC.

I still have great success with my throwers. I hate having to restock arrows all of the time. I use both a wraith thrower and a vamp thrower but they are pretty similar. I also have a traditional 120x6 paladin thrower.
