Attention all Gardeners! The Gardener's toolbox on Great Lakes has Issues! I do not possess enough seeds on other shards to test this in other locations. So this is what I can tell you, I'd like to thank Arnott for helping me.

Today I had to go try out the new Gardener's toolbox in Nujel'm to stack seeds. I made 3 trips with bags of seeds in my backpack. It did combine them Yay! However, I returned home after my first run put away the 3 different types of colored seeds, went back the second trip with a stack of 15 varieties of mostly new seeds, when I dropped them I got those all back stacked AND the 3 sets from my first run were pulled from storage in my house! The third trip I did 4 cocoa seeds, and I got back 11 of the 15 sets from my second run and the 3 colored sets from my first. I know the seeds came from my house because my filing system is easy to look at and when I recalled back after the second trip those spots were empty.

So I got in touch with a fellow related gardener on the shard, and she placed seeds in the trunk and got hers back and all of mine went poof from my backpack and house. They ended up in her pack! Here I watched them disappear from my open bag in my backpack.

Now we tried logging out at the Inn, and when she placed her seeds in the trunk mine didn't disappear. So we tried that just logging near the box.. that didn't block the transfer she got my seeds again.

A bug report has been filed, if anyone else has had issues please report them! Also be very careful with all the work you put in to gathering and raising those seeds.. as you don't know who could log in and use the box after you.

Same happened to mine on Napa, but I had the seeds in my beetle and not at my house. I do know it emptied the bag in the beetle and combined, which I thought was strange, but maybe didn't know how strange it was lol.

Well i just the box on legends and it didnt pull seeds form my seed house, but my seeds are not at the toon's house i am on either.

Yesterday tho it kept combine seeds from packie, bug, and me when i was off bug (i dont think it grabed them from bug while i was riding it)

Like i told my sister yesterday its a greedy little box. LOL

i didnt send report, maybe i should have. Didnt know it was taking seeds from houses too.

I wish this happened on Origin before it went live to everyone else.
I've made several trips since Origin got the publish and havent had any problems like the one listed here.

I had a whopping 4 nonstacking seeds on Origin to test with and nothing to use on TC1. I planted the seeds on Origin a few days ago, though, so this bug apparently didn't affect them. I'm glad I haven't had time to mess with the old seeds I had stored away on a couple of other shards.

It's too bad there aren't more people playing on Origin. I hope people who are interested in the upcoming changes to factions will pay heed to this situation and seriously consider making characters on Origin NOW and start training and equipping them to help with testing those changes in the near (?) future.

traveled to the seedbox six or seven times yesterday, sometimes with one bag, sometimes with three.... I did experience the box combining bags of seeds with others that had already gone into the seedbox that were in my backpack, but it didn't pull anything from containers in my house, and I did a lot of seeds.... gained over 400 lockdowns yesterday

That is so unfair. A guildmate and I both used the seed box on Origin.... First myself, then her and then I went back... both of us have our seeds still. Nothing has been pulled from our houses or our packs or where ever else ppl are losing seeds from. I dont know why we arent, cause I guess since everyone else is, we should be too.

hi all,
ok after yesterday's musical seeds, I put them away and logged off. As logging at home at stopped them from ending up in my sister n laws pack. However, today as I just checked all the seeds I had gotten back from her and put away are gone. They were in two different secured containers when I logged out.

So, logging off didn't save them either.
I suppose on the brighter side I could look at this as forced lockdown purging.

Can they make this thing change the seed descriptions from plain 'Red' to 'Bright Red' (and also all the other bright colors)? I just harvested some plants & the Bright Red Ponytail Palms are giving seeds that show as just Red.

I have seeds for most plants that are named as just being the basic color yet grow Bright plants that produce seeds that do not have the word bright in the name.

Since they don't stack with those that show the word bright in the name it tes up a lot more storage.

That sounds like another coding issue, the names/no names etc on seeds have been a pain in the royal..... for years! First they have no names, then they do, then they don't, then the names aren't the same.

They're taking shards down as I type this 4p.m. EST (its 3:27 CST) to pull this tool box from game. I hope it returns. Now you know folks I'm told free servers got a version of this which was more like a commodity box. You got one per account for your home it Identified seeds as well as grouped and stacked them.

maybe it was their way of trying to bring people to Nujelm. It is a pretty town and all and such a waste that it doesnt have a moongate.

I do remember! As a young mage I would also visit Nujelm to escort. One day in particular I will not forget, I couldn't find an escort anywhere. The whole island I searched. I found all 20 of them standing on the far side of Nujelm looking out to sea, waiting... I took a screenshot but cannot seem to find it to share.

I still visit Nujelm when I am doing the 5th hole of the seed quest, but looking forward to visiting more. I may even have my old rune to the Bank roof.

Once you've harvested all your seeds, use poppie dust on the stacks that aren't labeled bright like they should be - they'll get the bright name back and then you'll be able to stack them all together. (at least this was true about a month ago - haven't garden'ed in about a month or so...)

Just tried it and the seed name now includes 'Bright'.

Wonder if the plants grown by the renamed seeds will produce 'bright' seeds or revert back to just the basic color?

Luckily a poppie plant produces 64 uses.

well i tested it out maybe 10 times never got any extra seeds and all the seeds i combined are still in my seed box. and as for the we don't find bugs or send in bugs part of your post, if you want come to origin, I will give you enough gold for a house and other starting essentials, and you can show us how it's done. I have sent in every bug i ever found and spend as much time as I can looking for bugs, but it takes a lot of people playing different ways to find all the bugs and not enough people care to come to origin and do this.

This combined with very little positive reinforcement or interaction from on high, does not always produce a feeling that I should be testing as opposed to actually playing the game or trying to meet my own goals. I pay to play too you know.

If I could get a free setup on Origin like I get on TC (house, regs, resources and free skills!) I'd gladly go test new publishes.

Otherwise, I stick to my production shard and use TC for house planning, and ignore the publishes... mostly because I don't get news of what's going on until someone complains about it on Stratics. The patcher screen is rarely updated with the most recent publish info; how am I supposed to know what's going on in order to test it, unless I go digging for posts here?

This bug really stinks, and the placement of the box stinks too. I was excited to hear that we could stack old seeds; it'll clear up SO many of my lockdowns... but now I'm afraid to even see if the box is back, because I don't want to lose those seeds.

Well first off Origin does have a good population far from the idea if your looking in luna. We tend to be 'Out working ". Second sorry i took a break gardening when the valentines publish came out so i didnt get the chance to do any seed turn in's . And from the looks of it It might have been a saving grace for me i have 10 secures of seeds that need to be stacked but heck ill keep doing it my way if that box eats them!
Plant 100 every 2 weeks, grow and replace with stacking seeds! it works its a little time and resource consuming but hey I do sell out of the plants i grow ... i see it as a win win. Wish the box had worked would have been nice. All those nice lock downs!

i reside in GL, and apparently its gone off of our shard GRRR would have been nice if they gave us a heads up before packing them up for thetrip lol
