Gaining discordance

I have read you can gain discordance by casting tribulation on yourself. Is this still true? The post I seen it in was from awhile ago. I ask because I have been casting it on myself for about 45 minutes now and no gains. Music locked at 100 as suggested and discord is at 93.2 and have room left for gains in skills.

Finally got a .1 gain after around 50 minutes. I guess it's just very slow.

I don't think you need to lock music skill...actually I think you should be going to 120 music (in general).

It's a common practice to use skill masteries to raise skill after 90. It's been at least a decade since I trained discord, but I think the strategy is the same with just about all mastery training... wear as much +mana/int/mana regen/LMC as possible and then spam the mastery over and over. A couple of pro-tips would be to use the alacrity scrolls if you have access to them to increase your gains to .2-.5 per gain and use wraith form (with spirit speak) to cast wither in the slug pit (to regain mana).

toward the end of training it actually works to use the discordance skill on yourself. i think around 110 skill it is actually good to do. so you can mix in casting and and using the skill since theres a cooldown.

use crystal ball to check, but i think around the 110 area it helps to discordance yourself.
