I decided to volunteer for the spot as I am no longer playing, but i still do like the community. I also have no conflicts of interest in doing anything that is needed.

I agree with you on people who don't play should not post.

Now for a Mod tho who used to play. Isnt it there job to keep the forums in order? nothing more? For example..I can pvp better than you..No you can't Yes I can no you can't etc etc. Then add in foul language and so forth. Bam cut and ban.

Or hey I know this great server..its like old UO but better...etc etc...This is against the rules of stratics..

or better yet..Posting about programs...or just the smack talk that goes on. A mod is someone whos job is to watch the board. Nothing wrong with that.

now for a player to come on who hasnt played in years and starts smacking talking and causing a whole bunch of grief tho who doesnt have a clue on whats going on..another story.

A mod has a higher lvl to stand up to. They got the power. But on the same token. They can lose that power faster than most of us can on the boards.D


What is wrong with someone being a mod who doesnt play? maybe hes just on a very long break.

I would never want to be a Mod. heck I would probally ban everyone within 24 hours :

If it means anything, my account is still open and is paid through August..... I even logged in twice last week (to sell gold). But anyway.

Plod and five I can understand and accept your concerns about me being in this position, but as five said, I am just here to keep the forums in order and to do the job. The way I see it, I can still contribute to the game and community (even though admittedly i did very little of it in game) by being in the position, I have made some good friends from the game and still keep in contact with them, I see this as another way of doing so.

And Sneaky, did you see who the Sharks beat Saturday night hmm??? Maybe..... Just maybe the sharks can do something this year lol
