FYI: Board in 'moderated' mode

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but we have been forced to temporarily set the board into 'moderated' mode. This means posts will not appear until a moderator or admin approves them for viewing.

The reason for this move is the recent spam posting of pornographic images and pharmacuetical adverts highly unsuitable for our family friendly, public boards.

Maybe if you had moderators who actually paid attention it wouldn't be such a problem.

We're not talking one per fortnight Aran, but 4 - 5 an hour. None of us can just sit here watching one board 24/7.

Considering that it is a gaming forum where children occasionally visit - some of the ones posted should never even display... not even for the time it takes to tag and move it.

I'll watch too, no need for the kiddies to be exposed to some of the garbage here as well, they see enuf of it in the world as it is
