Friday's Stream!

Hey all, sorry for taking so long with this. Input is still appreciated, it is in no way final. From what I understand we have an hour stream for/to stratics, and then from there we plan to stream to any (or no) audience for as long as we please!

My Drafted schedule:

Start time 9am PST, (10 minute breaks every 2 hours or as needed)

1 Hour sponsored stream:
FIRST 30 MIN: 10 min basics/20 min dungeons (speed kills basically): beginner cave, serbule, Eltibule, Kur, dungeons, skills, GUI, curses. show how loot works
LAST 30 MIN: PVP duels and FFA (I can just post sign ups, kill seas get 5k, come one come all)

X Hours non-sponsored stream (in no order):
1 hour PVP Pet Tournament
1 hour Grudge Matches (seas vs nimor, dreadz, etc) or FFA
1 hour (each) Dungeon Escort (I plan to be a heal bot)
1 hour Solo runs -can pop between dungeons showing them off (I can stay away from under construction areas) and killing bosses show how loot works further
2 hours starting a character with PhDriz (my girlfriend!). How to best use your first hours in game. (plan: cave, run to serbule town, do quests out to mantis house in north, go to eltibule for a second and back to cave to kill maronessa)

So for any PVP all are welcome. For the most part the same is true for the dungeon escort (low level may preclude being able to be successful). All would be welcome on the rerole with PhDriz!

might be interesting to have a few walkthroughs for certain things:
like best way to get past the rhino npc
show where you get necromancy/spider form in crypt
or you could do a quest/favor walkthrough, showing it's important to raise favor with npcs, and to do quests because some are linked to skills(like Mentalism, and shield)

Yeah but most people you are gonna tell you Mentalism. That's better discussed here in the forums, where we discuss non-mentalism methods of killing bosses. Maybe make a topic for it? I'd be happy to lend my method to others, since I don't know anyone else who uses it.

And to add to seas - I think devoting half of the stream to PvP isn't the best use of the short time. PvP is such a teeny tiny part of the game, that I think anything more than 10 minutes on it is overkill. There's already loads of content to show off, that it might be better to prioritise other things; not just PvE, but skills as well maybe? Just like, demonstrate the depth of some non-combat skills, and concisely showcase the skill system on the whole.

shaxsa - I can do how to get past rhino (I'll try and bring other sets if I still have them that can do it besides mentalism), I think it would be great to show how to get necro and spider form (how/where precisely do you get necro now? I had it before), and I can and will talk about how to get favor with NPCs

Grem - Noted about the PVP, I can plan a longer intro and then do PVP, say 40 min 20 min? I would like to show pvp if only to show other players in the highlighted portion if that is all some of the audience will see (hopefully they stay on and watch dungeons with groups [I plan to showcase a few: Crypt, WW cave, Eltibule dungeons and new dungeon if time])

I wonder if you could have a solely pet based character?

So, level necro, pet handling, and deer. You as a player don't deal damage directly, but focus entirely on buffing and healing your pets.
