This Friday I will not be able to attend the SOS shopping. I have to pull a couple of nightshifts at the hospital and this Friday happens to be one of those. Everyone knows what to do and I hope you guys get some great SOS cards, Oh get a barnacle bessie for me. If I am home I will try to get in on the last run but that will not be til after 1000pm est time. Have Fun and Good Luck

I'm throwing a housewarming party in Second Life on Fried Day, so I won't be showing up.

Tonights SOS shopping went off with only a few hitches thanks to Braid lol. we love you braid just not your computer. Anyway after some standing around I took the reins and tried to make some sense of everything. Because up till that point it was a Friday Night Pit chat.

We got 2 tems of 8 together and let the first group fly. They got the best card available. They pulled a Professor Pete.

The second group waitied very patiently for braid to get discoed before entering at 10pm. Thats right 10pm est. We did have a late arrival that came in but there was no room so we had to change districts. I couldnt make someone stay behind after waiting an hour to go.

Once we got into Funnyfield we loaded for our run. The first card was a Clerk Will so we ran, and we ran again for the next card which was Clerk Ray. We finally made out third attempt and got a Daffy Don and everyone agreed to stick around.

The battle was smooth. The cogs went down fast. The VP didn't give us a bit of trouble. Smooth as glass.

CONGRATS to ELECTROFLAP on her First VP run. WTG. You done did guud girl!

We tried to set up a 3rd and final run but time got the better of us and people started to get tired. So we only got in 2 runs with 1 awesome card and one good card. Good Job Everyone.

I am sorry about the delays and unorganization but it was my first event that I took charge of. I promise to get a little better every time I get to run an event. Thank you all for your patients and consideration. I appreciate you all following the NO TOON LEFT BEHIND mantra.

YOU GUYS ROCK!

I am glad that you got a couple of runs in. Sorry I could not make. I could not get away, it was a crazy night at the hospital. When you are a resident you never know when you are going home. Thanks Joe for running the show since I was not able to make it. Maybe next week we can get a few more runs in . Also I am going to put a backup district different than funnyfield for Friday nights. It seems like when you go into a quite district you get better cards because no one is there I am thinking about Kookytown or if anyone else has a slow district in mind please post. Maybe we can wait til 910 to go on the first run that gives a few people time to get there and chat for a couple of min. Then at 910pm est time the first group goes in and the second group follows. Glad to hear it went well and prof pete is a great card. Maybe next week I can get a couple barnacle bessie, prof pete, and flippy.
