I keep reading references to this attack, but I can't figure out how I can do it. Please give info on how to do a Frenzied whirlwind attack.
thanks

2 days and over 30 views with no response,
can anyone tell me if this is even feature of the samuarai, or was projected feature that never came about? If it is a feature, is it just an auto feature that is obtained by having bushido? How does one do a frenzied whirlwind attack?

Thanks again

Someone else mentioned this to me, but I was unable to find anything on it myself. The only Whirlwind I've found is the special move on the radiant scimitar.

I found this on the samouri abilities page of stratics:

Skill Bonus: Whirlwind
Whirlwind attacks gain a damage bonus from the Bushido skill, increasing as it affects more enemies. The damage bonus is applied to all enemies that are hit by the Whirlwind attack, including the primary target.

Use the weapon special and samouri abilties and you can kill a heavy spawn area very quickly.

Side note:

I was trying to get keys for the Travesty peerless one day and the mage room was crowded with way too many mages (as usual during peek play hours). I saw a single samouri walk in and use the whirlwind special (on a soulseeker if memory serves) and vamp embrace. This player cleared the room in a matter of minutes and when I tried to help them with cross heals they were NEVER damaged.

Whirlwind on the Soul Seeker is exactly what I use to get the keys for Travesty, especially the red key. It pretty much wipes out everything. You just have to watch out when you start to run low on enemies to hit, and switch over to a 1-1 combat so you can leech enough. Targets tend to wander off, and you don't want to roam around too much or you'll just respawn a bunch more that you have to kill, so it's good to get as many life bars up as you can, then switch targets as necessary.

Is this the 'Frenzied Whirlwind' Though?

Jeremy has mentioned info about the frenzied whirlwind coming soon, in a recent adress.

Can't remember where tho.

No, this is the Whirlwind special that's on the radiant scimitar. Frenzied Whirlwind is a different special.
