There is no free time for existing accounts unless they are doing a Return to Britannia promotion but you can open a 14 day trail account with a new character at Mythic Entertainment | Ultima Online | Play the 14-Day Free Trial! just to see what's going on.
Back in January/February there was a promo where you could open closed accounts for 14 days of free play. Usually they do Return to Britannia right around UO's anniversary date (which is sometime in September I think).
