Now, if we could just convince the powers that be that "mark all forums as read" and "mark all posts in forum as read" buttons are necessary.
For the "mark all posts", one can go up one level and click the little green circle, but I don't care what they think,. it's the most counter-intuitive means I've ever seen to do it (not to mention I can't find any instruction except maybe in the help section that the functionality even exists) - and it still doesn't allow you to mark all the forums as read at once; you got to go through and click each circle independently - and I've had the circles go back to the bright-green "unread posts" after a refresh, despite there being no new posts since they were marked...
There's also a mark all posts as read in the forum tools, but that involves a couple additional steps than just a single button - plus most persons don't think that a "mark all as read" is a Tool, but a feature, and never look there.
