Former player wanting to come back. EA can't seem to answer my question.

I played UO for about 4 years, then about 4 years ago I stopped playing for various reasons. I'd love to come back, but I have some questions, and the warm, intellgent folk at the EA help site don't seem to have a clue what I'm talking about, lol.

As stated.. it was a 4 year account, but that was 4 years ago. I know if I reactivate it, my characters, my house, my treasure, it's all gone. Does anyone know if the account would still have "vet" status though?

For example.. would I have to start over with a 700 skill point cap, or would it let me go back up to 720 with my new characters on the old account? Same with Str, Dex, and Int caps? It was a 4 year old account.. if I play for another year, will I be eligible for a 5 year vet reward? My main concern is the skill and stat caps.. without those increases, I doubt I'd come back. If it actually does "reactivate" my account.. not just creating a new account with my old username and password.. I'd love to come back. As I said, EA Customer Support was no help, acted like they didn't even know what I was talking about.

You should still have your characters.. If you know you account username and password, there is a come back to britainnia promo on until tomorrow... You should be able to log into your old account for free.

If your account is 4 years, you will indeed get your 5th year vet rewards if you play for another year. The skill cap should still be 720 because of you account age.

Also, the free welcome back promo runs until the 16th according to the website.

The veteran reward system only counts for paid time now. So you will pick back up where you left off and not have the additional 4 years of reward picks.

As said above though, your characters should still be there so it is well worth reactivating the old account - especially now during the free return promotion.
