Forgot to lock down secret chest...

A few hours ago I was cleaning up & moving boxes/chests around in my house. Wife and kids get home, kids are screaming, the wife is telling me to do the dishes. I get up from the pc & didn't check to make sure I locked everything down.

I probably lost $800.00 in stuff. due to me forgetting to lock the box down.

At least 30 nearly full soulstones.
Probably used 5 Mythic tokens.
A ton of in-store items
Rares that I had recently purchased.

My question & I'm only asking because I don't know. (i suspect not, but I'm going to ask anyway)
Is there any chance of me getting my soulstones back? I realize that I cant get back rares, or any of that other stuff I purchased. However, since Broadsword can see my recent in-game purchases I was wondering if there is any chance of me getting those replaced?

I've really enjoyed playing UO again over the last 6 months & have dumped a lot of money into the game. I realise that this is my fault & it's like a gut punch. Do any of you have any experience with an accident like this?

Ouch ! I'm sorry to hear that... I think the only hope is to contact Lady Mesanna and see if her can do something for that but i think it's really hard because sovereign code are bought on Origin Store and SS, Mythic Token and items store are bought in in-game store, so i think it will be really hard track them :( ... Worth a try with Lady Mesanna but i doubt they can do much :( (only time i needed the help of customers service for a code that didn't work, i had to write emails for a week because each custmore service said wasn't their fault and i had to contact the other customer service :( )

I hope I am wrong, but I fear you are likely to get the standard response: "We cannot replace any items lost in-game".
I truly hope that I am wrong, but that has been my experience 95% of the time.

Nope. If they were to replace them I'm sure everyone would be suddenly losing soulstones! It might be worth emailing Mesanna directly and if she is willing to help you might get lucky.

I can imagine how must it sucks to lose a chest like that. We have all done it at some point. Chin up!

I was thinking/hoping that they had a id number or could see that I had used them.

The big question for me is, Why do they even allow store-bought items to decay if dropped on the ground?

I hope you decide to rebuild. I've come back after a house decay myself with many soulstones. You're not the first, and sadly will not be the last since BS rarely makes QoL changes.

Unless they´ve changed it "recently", soulstones doesn´t decay if they stand on their own. Just like the small blackrock stones you get when mining.
However, since you had yours in a container, they disappeared when the container decayed. The safest place for soulstones is in your bank.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I´ve been in a similar situation and know that the feeling will pass. :)

I feel your pain.
I have lost many valuable rares and most recently a pet due to terrible response time from Game Masters.
I've seriously mulled quitting UO forever due to terrible customer service.
GM game response sometimes takes days...meanwhile your precious items are lost forever. They should definitely reconsider the terms and conditions when there are obvious ways to prove technical glitches (bugs) and poor response time.
