For those peeps who were entirely devoted to this game, I just wanted to say I am very sorry to see it is closing for you. Although all of my hopes for this game were dashed today, I know that I will feel nowhere near the loss for this game that many of you will. I hope 90 days is enough time to tie up loose ends, maybe find another game you and your friends can connect on. Good luck in the future.

I seem to be in the situation that you are in, princessreyna.

I am truly sorry for those people that are hurting right now. I have read the huge thread about the "end". It makes me sad that people are fighting with each other, egging each other on. I won't post in that thread for nothing, too much hate.

I loved TSO at the beginning. But I quit playing it years ago. I came back when they announced that they were gonna make a new game, but even then I rarely logged into the game, and to be honest, I didn't like the way the game was headed from what I read on their blog.

But today is a very sad day for so many of you, and I want you to know that I feel for you. Ignore those that are trying to upset you further and try to be happy in the fact that you had a great time while the game was here.

I say cheers to the Devs, you tried!

To the rest of my TSO friends, even though I don't really know any of you anymore, I say:

love, peace, hippybeads, waterbeds, and other stuff that I can't post! lol

And when TSO is gone, come on over and visit me at WOW, you might enjoy that too.

I was devoted to it simply because it provided an environment for myself and my very best friend in the entire world to spend time together and to rekindle the joy we experienced through the Sims. It's been more than just a game to us. We live on opposite sides of the world and financial impediments prevent us from physically visiting each other, so having a virtual world was the next best thing. Yes we can keep in contact through any messaging/email program but it isn't the same at all now is it. Playing here has been as much a lifesaver to me as a really cool fun game.

I am devastated. Having a sense of this coming hasn't helped. There is no other game like this. I do not have interest in any other online game. This was it, for me.

Good thing despair doesn't drive me to drink. I'd be slurring my text by now.
