For those thieves who enjoy the thrill of the chase

As a thief, i take my enjoyment from evading the mark.

I have recently noticed a decline in the "chase", people dont seem to care.

So, i came up with a simple solution...I joined factions!

I dont really do it for the sigs, although this does lead to an inevitable chase. I do it for the big orange..WANTED tag that flies above your head!

If you enjoy the chase, join factions, use the same tactics as you would and watch every opposing faction chase you down once you've made your steal!!!

I did the same thing. And in regards to the chase...nothing gets a group of oranges to hunt a thief down faster then being purple. I have recently been chased from Brit to Trinsic and then along to Magencia via the sparkle gate just to get a single sig from the sig pedestal in Brit to the COM HQ.

It also gets thieves who don't normal pvp fight to join the fracous to help protect the sigs (there aren't huge sig camping here on Siege) so if a thief wants to get the sig corrupted, many times, he has to be the one to guard them.

I'd still like to see some faction artis created that would help a thief outside of DCI and resist bumps...la

One additional thing. It does help keep you on your toes. It's almost like the feeling you'd have with the old perma grey status. I would goes days without getting killed and would forget who I was and who I wasn't grey to, so I had to always make sure I knew where i was so I could make a quick escape if attacked by one of the people I had stolen from...la

YUP. its definitely fun. And my funniest steals have come from people who insist on getting their faction arties while i can see their packs.

Those were fun times indeed. Doing some banking and having to switch into escape mode almost instantly.
