as I was informed by firend snakeman, the swabs for your cannons are mildly important, if they are not an item that drops on captured ships, the brit vendor house has them by piles, also have ramrods to pack the charges in, there are still free cookies on the vendors

a little hint there are web sites that organize and categorize all items in luna vendors which has a search engine to look for stuff and on any shard.

Some people are giving out free vendor locations in luna if you look.
