As there are several auctions ending on Europa-soil over the next couple of days, I thought i’d advertise my own crap a bit, in case any x-sharders are coming over who have some extra cash to spend.

Got a PM today from someone asking me how much i want for the cloth. To be honest, i don't have the SLIGHTEST clue as to what a yard would be worth these days. Could anyone give me a rough idea please?

Europa gold cloth was going for 6-10m per yard on Europa at the time I was gathering pieces together for my half-apron.

For time frame, it was shortly before all the changling duped shrouds were mass converted to monk's robes.

I wish I had more current info than that.

uhm well I was able to buy 2 sashes at 3.5 mils in the past two weeks on europa.
Besides even back then, before the changeling dupe, one yard was nowhere near 6-10 mils! Or did I only get cheapos? I doubt that..lol.
Some sashes for my 2 skirts, 3 doublets and 2 aprons (not to mention the bandages I produced in mistake..lol) I got myself back then, but most I bought too and they were never over 6 mils per sash (2yards per).

Atm I´d estimate 1 yard at around 2-3 mils max.

Two unblessed potentially cuttable sashes for 3.5m in the last fortnight? Congrats! And be jolly glad Scandi &amp; I remained unaware of them!

I attended most, if not all, of the sash-giving events. I never received one simply because the time the events ended &amp; sashes were being distributed happened to clash with my bath &amp; bedtime routine with my daughter. Family comes first, pixels a poor second. Still, it'd be nice to have a sash and I'll achieve it one day.

I've never had a whole Europa sash in my possession. I've had gold cloth, which I traded for from two different sources since I was certain the cloth was legit, and 2 yards were very kindly gifted to me by the crafter, Lady Puppie.

As for buying cheapo's lol, I guess it's every bit as possible that you did buy bargains, as it is possible that I made poor trades for the cloth that I did receive.

At the time, I was item-comfortable and gold-poor (still am!). I have to say that I was satisfied with both trades especially since the origin of the cloth was important to me especially since you could barely turn around for duped gold cloth &amp; crafted items with no maker's mark at that point in time.

And oh, yes, the bandies! Something about seeing two golden bandies on a vendor just saddened me.

Having shard hopped extensively over the last month, it's also worth bearing in mind that the Europa sashes fetch rather more elsewhere than they do at home.

15m for an unblessed sash (auctioned on this board within the last week) halved for zero profit margin (imagine that!) would be 7.5m per yard of cloth.

Lol well i highly doubt i'll be getting 60m for the ugly junk (Yup, i'm a gold cloth hater

) but i did get a 8m bid, so 1m per yard, from a private bidder.

I'll be taking bids on the cloth till friday evening, 11PM CET.

@NICO: in the times the sashes were handed out, the cloth was nowhere near 6/10m for a yard tbh.... 1m/yard would have been the average. Not ONCE in Uo history have i seen 1 yard sell for 6 mill. So if you think Esmeralda was getting the bargains, may I add that imo you really got ripped off

No gold changed hands, and as I said, I was happy with both trades (one of which was a no longer spawning legacy pet). If I traded poorly, I traded poorly lol.

Fact is, someone just spent 15m for one unblessed sash on the off chance it might produce two pieces of legit gold cloth.

Either way, I guess it'll be interesting to see the winning bid for the cloth on Friday.

Nico are right, be happy that we didnt noticed that sashes in time before you bought them.

And your golden cloth clothes are excep?
Had to ask,just for info nothing else.

Im with Lady Nico here,I rather pay extra to be sure the cut cloth are no dupe.

Sorry, my english is not good, but i don't understand this this discussion.
I buy the "Member of the royal guard sash" not for to produce anything, but to lock on my museum.

And i offer to this auction for the same.

Gwen, why don't you make 2 auction, 1 of 2 cloth and 1 of 6 cloth.

The only thing EA changed was mirrior image duped shrouds. All robes, cloaks, kilts, skirts, doublets, etc were unchanged and remain in game.

As I stated above, I crafted them, so yes, my crafter´s mark (and in one case, the one of my friend) are on all of my gold cloths, including the expetional tag of course.

I still don´t think that gold yards are that expensive. It´s not that hard to buy sashes at the price of 3.5 if you search around a bit. Fact is, the price will rise the more time passes, but atm it would be quite overpriced in my opinion to charge 6-10 mils per yard.

Since Esmeralda cut the sashes to produce the cloth, there is no question the cloth is legitimate and anything crafted from it would therefore accept her (or anyone else's) maker's mark, Scandi.
