Personally I don't understand why relic fragment is so expensive.
From my use of imbuing , to imbue the 5th property is basically futile and wasteful of relics. Any excessive expenditure of relic fragment is simply going to be transferred to the great void of nothingness.
I'll keep making oak bows for now. Spending 20-30 mil to be able to make 3 weapons seems too wasteful

Oak bows? can you get relics from them in some way still?
I thought they stopped it in a recent patch
I don't think you have a lot of experience with imbuing then.
Who the hell is imbuing the fifth mod with something that requires relics? That's just foolish. Imbue the mods that require relics first, and then the stuff that uses essence or residue last.

Anyway , It doesn't matter one way or the other
the 5th mod from what I've seen has a low chance of success even if I choose the lowest intensity , for instance swing speed increase @ 30% or swing speed @ 10%. It appears to be the 5th mod that makes the chance of success low (hence burns relics)
