Has anyone gotten anything of value from it or just a cool colored bag full of gems?

I love the gemologist bag color...

I got a relic fragment once, that and the bag are the best I've gotten...I also got temp dex boost...I've come to the conclusion the lucky coins are not worth too much.

I got a coin yesterday. Tossed it. Said you feel stronger or something. Big deal. Navery killed me. I wasnt that strong.

When I was farming iron beetles and the accompanying wolf spiders one morning to do that beetle scale quest, I ended up with 29 scales and 3 lucky coins from that venture. I was suspicious that you get more coins off of mobs closer to the fountain, kind of a thing where maybe people throw so many coins in then the mobs dredge around in the waters and pick them up (the RP version of mobs near the fountain spawning with more coins)?

I'm sure I'm over thinking it and it was probably just cause I was there for over two hours working on those dudes that I got so many coins.

I've only thrown one of them, got an EE. I kept two because they stack and are neat looking and I could probably use them in some sort of deco, and who knows when I'll get more...

I'm surprised there hasn't been a spoiler list created yet. I have not yet ventured to the fabled fountain, but I have gotten a couple coins from the puzzle room.

No Quest. The coins drop on monsters in the Underworld. The fountain is all the way at the back side of the Underworld. Near the iron beetles.

I've gotten a messege that said "You feel invulnerable" not sure what that did

But I've also gotten +10 on int and str.
I've also gotten most of my coins from the vines.
