I can not believe there has not been any mention from the dev team
or Jeremy in regards to our question about increased stable slots.

Even if it is no...then at least tell us with maybe a little explanation
as to why.

So in answer pfffftt to the FOF...
goes off to pout.

*grins* as always Fayled, you beat me to the forums.....

It's not as easy as copy and paste.....how *I* personally do it, though there MIGHT be an easier way....

Each link requires the following HTML coding..

<A HREF=" (LINKY GOES HERE) "> (WORDS HERE) </A>

So to link to the herald....
<A HREF=" (www.uoherald.com) "> UOHerald </A>
*minus the Perans obviously*

Each link must be clicked upon, link copied, then pasted into the document with the above HTML coding inserted properly....so...

*click link, copy, back button-paste into document, insert proper HTML/Wording...rinse repeat for....how many links??*

MIGHT be a faster way to do it, but you must remember I am a noob when it comes to HTML though I DO have the standard HTML coding for the
TOP portion......

*sighs*

hey baby ( does groucho marx leer ) I think you cut-n-paste just fine
just fine ...

Wanna come and see my collage of etchings ... err clippings ?

I might suggest, to cut down on typing

a "draft template"

<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>
<A HREF=" () "> () </A>

Highlight the parens, then paste to piece to be copied (link - text)

I've used this one (with additions as needed ... for years for here(minus the leading [ , for clarity ...)

Heh, I had the same problem when copying/pasting to UOForums as well, so you're not alone.
Although UOF has the WYSIWYG editor, so copying/pasting the story as it's displayed on the webpage, works, for the most part.

Hi Larisa and Adam,

I use Joomla for my sites, a simple copy/paste goes into the editor every time... it's really nice not having to link up all those URLs by hand.
Now sometimes when I link back to UOS or UOF because they were the source... then I have to link manually (no big though).

Hopefully when the forum here on UOS gets updated, the next update/replacement/etc. will have a modern editor that will make things a lot easier for UOS reporters and staff.

About the RSS feed for UO Herald, I sent Jeremy an email a long time ago about it... but never heard back (probably just buried in her inbox). Jeremy... throw your community contributors some love please!
