FoF questions: On Strangers, Andrew and Melissa.

I know there is a lot of stories that we the players and acting out and in. But can we get some sort of update or mini-story to help us decided what to do next? Andrew came without a deadline and disappeared while a lot of us were arguing on whether or not to help him and accept the glass dagger or refuse. The Strangers never seemed finished and they vanished before a lot of us had a chance to fight in Heartwood, and now we have Melissa. How long will she be spawning over and over?

I don't want to skip to the final chapter and read the ending, but I feel like I don't understand what is going on either. Will the Strangers be back? While we have another chance at a glass dagger?
