I'm trying to return to the game but when I log in and see that party life bars are horribly broken it has almost completely killed my enthusiasm for the game. UO has been running for about 16 years and they can't even get the life bars to work? Every time someone joins or rejoins the party, all the lifebars I had on screen disappear and/or pile on top of each other. Get you **** together EA.

I do see it as a gamebreaker. When you log in and you can't even participate in guild events properly because all your lifebars are being erased or ****ed up every couple of minutes it vigorously waves a huge red flag. If the developers can't even get something as simple as life bars to work it doesn't bode well for the game in general.

I use the CC and I don't have this issue.
I have / had the same problem. If you space out each bar and not auto stick them together it fixes the problem. Hope this helps
Maybe it works for you but it doesn't work for me with 10+ bars on screen. A power bar bug shouldn't even exist in a game this old but EA have managed it somehow. I'm getting bad flashbacks of the wolf form bug that took several months of multiple people tellign EA daily that is was broken before they bothered to fix it.
Apparently the situation is even worse now. This bug existed several years ago IIRC.
It wont beat the bug with pets when your pet become out of screen and you pulled severals bars , all the bars become your pet's name for some reasons , this with the bug that makes u go grey if you command your pet to attacks a criminal, after 2 minutes, you'll become the criminal. These are the two most annoying tamer bugs in the game and im sure it already made several players quit..
Edit : Oh and I forgot about the bug that makes the classic client crash when a player's pet die and get healed at the same time ( maybe its the combination of both sounds : heals + death that provokes the crash )

Big issue for group hunters. One late comer join and all bars becomes a cluster. One player disconnect and have to rejoin..Same happens. One tamer logs out and back when pet dies to get it away from the boss ..same.. This is more deadly than most bosses and a big matter for us that act healers and look after the group.

You know, when people join your party and the bars jump, or when someone client crashes and has to log back in while in party (the same thing happens), you need only hold Alt + drag the bars again will allow you to separate/organize them without right-clicking them out.
I'm not sure if it's this way in EC or not, I rarely use EC, but it's been like this for CC for... ever.

That's well and good but when your in the middle of a spawn or PvPing or something of that nature the last thing I have time for is to **** with bars.
