[Fishing] Fishmongers' Quests : Is there a way to see where I am ?

I have been doing Fishmongers' Quests a go-go.

I have tons of baits though, I have not been keeping track of how many Quests I did.

Is there a way to figure out at what point I am along the Fishmongers' Quests tree ?

Like how many I have completed, what is my standing with them and so forth.
That is, how well I am progressing with my work.

By the way, is there an use for the "rare" books ?

I have so many of these "rare" books I am not sure why they are called rare at all....

Also, I have received lava traps but no lava pole so far. What gives the lava pole ?

Lava poles are same rarity as lava traps. Check out some of the posts about fish, and what "points" people assume them to be worth.
