fishing question about white pearls

my question has to do with the drop rate on white pearls...

with the introduction of fishing up mass amounts of scales since i last fished... has that created a lesser amount of pearls to be fished up than in the past. it seems slower but it could be just me.

also if you use a non Abyss updated acct would you get more pearls than an updated account

Random loot is random, and white pearls are random loot. There isn't any method to make them drop more, or less. The scales drop is a drop on it's own, it doesn't affect the white pearl droprate...

And there is a fishing forum under professions, it's called UO Fishing and Treasurehunting...

okay... thx for letting me know what you have seen. i had a feeling they kept it the same or similar but it had been so long. now i remember why hehe
