Yeah they can be. Runic saws
max luck is 140 and carpenter can make them using heartwood runic saws and then enchancing with oak. It can take alot of attempts to make one and getting the runic saws can be a pain sometimes.
the luck stat is a mystery some people say it does and some say it doesnt. What i heard is it apparently affects ur chances on getting rare or legendary fish but who knows. The way i look at it is this is fishing ur not going to run into anything harder then a kraken or water elemental so what can a lil luck hurt.

I tried every combination I could while fishing up the legend fishes... I noticed no difference in having luck or not on catching them. But, RNG is RNG even with luck sadly.
Also, max luck on them now may be 190. Have not tried to make one in a LONG time though.
the way u make them i believe the highest luck u can get on them is 140 the runic kit can only get u to 100 then the enchance gets u the other 40..........least in my attempts with this i've never gotten a runic saw to get me over 100. Do u have any ideas on how u could get it up to 190?

Honestly it is nothing more than an assumption on my part. Once other gear was able to reach 150 and then enhance I assumed fishing poles would fall under that as well.
I am bout to log into the game and burn a saw or two just to see though. Will let ya know
I’ve heard the same. Split right down the middle, this is my experience alone, so take it with a grain of salt. The only difference I have noticed between fishing with a high luck suit vs not, is that high luck pulls more pearls/scales, which would make sense as they are resources. But I have fished for 3 hours trying to pull a legendary with high luck and bait with no results. Next day fished for the same legendary and pulled one with a archer deco suit and no bait after 2 casts. It’s gonna be hard to verify anything anyone says, or confirm if it helps or not. But I would say you would have better luck praying to the RNG gods than using luck with fishing.

Yeah, that bait and the fishermans suit are jokes. I remember a Dev giving us actual numbers on it once and they said it added like a .003% chance. Have not used either since
Yeah I have a suspicion the luck in the fishing pole doesn’t really do much of anything. I have both a luck fishing pole and a spell channeling one. I find myself using the spell channeling one more because its benefit, although slight, is more obvious than 140 luck.
Luck has the following effects based on Publish 86:
- Loot obtained from monsters, SoS Chests, Treasure Chests, Dredging Hooks, and as Quest Rewards will be influenced by the luck of the individual getting the loot.
How did you end up with such a thing? I just tried creating something like this but I have found that I can't reforge, imbue, or enhance a fishing pole.

Ah okay I see now. I tried making one with frostwood, then enhancing with oak but I wasn't able to. Now I see that using the runic tool to start with is how its done. I tried a few charges with an ash tool out of curiosity and got some all over the place results, but usable stuff.
