(Player Event) Fishing Competition! 20 to 22 January

We will be holding a fishing competition Event.

Friday/Saturday the 20th/21st of January

Objective: Catch the heaviest Blue Marlin or Kingfish within a certain time pocket.
Date/Time/Duration: Friday the 20th, and Saturday 21st of January 2012.
Shard: Drachenfels
1st Place Prize: Heaviest: Two Million Gold Pieces (2.000.000gp)
Xtra Prize: Lightest: One Million Gold pieces (1.000.000gp)

Event Rules & Guidelines
We have set up a set of rules and guidelines that should eliminate any cheating.

• The fish can only be a Blue Marlin or Kingfish Caught on the day of 20/01/2012 or 21/01/2012.
• It shall hold the name of the fisherman or fisherwoman who caught it.
• the fish must have the name listed on it that is the name of the character at the post event on sunday the 22nd.
• These fish can be found on Trammel Deep Waters.
• Note the day start at serverup.

Winner will be found in the Post Event in Front of West Britain Bank on:

Sunday the 22nd of January 2012 From 19:30 (7:30pm) CET/MEZ
(Central European Time)

This mini event's only purpose is to find the winners of this competition. and should not last more than 30 minutes.

We would like to know in particular about the following:

- Was a 2 catching days enough/too much/too little?
- Was the allowed fish types enough/too many/too few?

But feel free to add any additional feedback you might have.

2 catching days is enough if you ad other fish in it. I would suggest the normal big fish cause most people can catch those easier during the normal fishing day. I'm still trying to get a Blue Marlin and even with bait its very hard.

Make a separate competition for Fish like the Marlins or Kingfish and the Normal Big fish. For both lowest and highest are fine. Give the bigger rewards for the Kingfish/Marlin Competition then for the normal Big fish.
Not that Seoman would fish for 1 million gold, he would do it even for 1 bottle of rum. Its all about Honor... or getting drunk!


And Maybe a seperate Competition for Crab and Lobsters.
