Anniversary items for the 15th Anniversary of Ultima Online have been added. Considering these are a gift from us to you, we will drop a few sneak peeks in the upcoming weeks.

• All Characters older than 30 days will be eligible to receive Anniversary Items beginning September 1st, 2012 and ending September 30th, 2012

Yeah peeps, its 1st of September, not on my Birthday, another fail from Mythic bah!

hehe how is it a fail to not give out the presents ahead of time? The presents shouldn't really go out till 25th September. That's the birthday. In fact the notes don't actually say when you'll get them, just when you have to be in game to qualify to receive one. The artwork is in the client, ready to give them out. That's all we actually know for certain.

Is the plan with the anniversary gifts to randomly surprise us on various days throughout the month with an opportunity to receive a gift if we log in on that particular day? Kinda like the one-day opportunity to receive the April 1st cake IOU a few years ago?

What's the big mystery here? Log a character in between Sept. 1 and Sept. 30 to get your bag of pixelcrack.

It means you have 30 days to log in all your characters on every shard and hoard, hoard, hoard.

I think what's concerning people is the line above that in the publish notes which says they'll be "dropping sneak peeks in upcoming weeks" regarding the anniversary gifts. It's a strange thing to say about the anniversary gifts if everything is going to be available September 1st and if you've already looked a little further down the publish notes to actually see the list of anniversary gifts.

Oh, that's easily explained as an artifact of sloppy editing.

I'm pretty sure the sneak peeks were involving the Christmas and Veteran rewards not the anniversary gifts.

For this publish we are getting Christmas gifts and Veteran rewards put in so I hope everyone enjoys what we have come up with. Yes, sneak peeks will come later!

For the anniversary gifts, I think it is as usual. Log in within the month and get your gifts. I did get 3 harpsichord rolls already this morning while doing a mini champ spawn. They just dropped right in my bag.

Nothing about veteran rewards or holiday gifts. (though mentioning them would have made all the difference)

Since the only sneak peek we received was back on June 8th, and the line above has been in the publish notes since August 15th, one would guess there were abandoned plans to show the other items.
