The folks over at MMO-Champion have gotten an off-screen image of the charater creation screen revleaing what the Death Knight icon looks like and what a female Gnome Death Knight looks like...kinda scary! Of things to note, the title of the game still is the Burning Crusade screen, does this lead any credit to the rumor that the announcment is going to be the release of Death Knights before the expansions release? I highly doubt it, but we will know A LOT more in just a little over an hour.
Also Blizzard has gone and updated their splash screen one last time, just go ahead and visit Blizzard's main page to check it out. The rune's are all lit up, the person/creature is a little more legible and we see a...finger? claw? talon? Hmmmm. Interesting.
If you're up reading this, you most likely are wanting to catch the official announcment as it happens. We will be updating the site for you with all the new information that is bound to come out of this weekend, but you can actually go ahead and see if for yourself! Blizzard's WWI page has links to low/high streams of the Main Stage (where the announcment will take place) and the Tournament Stage (where gamers will battle it out in StarCraft, WarCraft III and World of WarCraft for cash!). Just be sure to have the Octoshape plug-in installed to view the stream (if you watched the MLG WoW Tournament, you should be good to go!)
