First aid belt macro??

In stock EC how can I use my first aid belt from my pack?

Having it open sometimes works, But that is still hit n miss. I now just take out 50 or so at a time

I use bandage self, with the gump open.

I don't play the EC but you can try that. It never fails for me, in the CC anyway.

I don't like that I have to have the gump open to use the band-aids but it is what it is!

open the belt
drag bandages to hotbar.
the belt can be closed at this point.
Assign hot key and target self.

This will work until you die or cross a server line. To fix you just need to open the belt again.

I don't know about flawlessly, but def better it seems. I think flawless would be that you wouldn't need to have the belt gump open to use the macro; simply counting the resource (talking about in UOA) would recognize the count and allow use without needing a second container open.

I use EC. I have the closed belt in my backpack. I set up a hot key for bandage self as stated above and I have not had a time when it didn't work, and the belt is closed all the time.

This works !

Also make a little macro, that ends in "target self", assign a key and then you will auto heal self, or if you want you can make another macro that targets your pet, and all in ONE keypress i.e no waiting for cursor etc. Also by looking at the hot bar icon of bandaids, you will see how many are left etc. : beauty of the EC client macros - Enjoy!

It works flawlessly with UOA, you don’t need the belt open, just record a macro to use item (the bandages in the belt) and DON’T change it to item type. It will always work so long as you don’t let the stock run dry.
