Fire Pit Turn In Reward (placing issues?)

I was told by someone that there was an issue with placing firepits or something alone those lines. I just wanted to know what kind of issue if there was one before I spend a lot of points towards it and end up not wanting it!

On TC we could not cook over it, can you in game on home shards?

Nope can't cook over it on chessy. Are you supposed to be able too?
