when u guys fight the VP is a active distrist. do u guys looke at each cog suit toons? some toons got high lvl suit, but crappy gags (most likely they got lucky) or ur like me which is lvl 1 cold bot suit with max gag. so i was just wondering how many ppl do look at each toons stats. not just suits.

You should have had more options. For the most part, I'll board with just about anyone. Sometimes I'll check gags, but that's only to see if that person has gags more over the levels. With rare exceptions, if someone has a sell suit, then they've earned the right to go into the VP. So long as they have gags (and I don't mean 1 of every possible gag nor do I mean all their weakest gags but none of their strongest), then I'll board. IF, however, they have no gags, are missing important/strong gags, need a major toonup, any number of other inconsiderate things, then I won't board with them. Once in the VP, if they aren't playing for the team, then I'll be inclined to not help them survive (I will NOT sacrifice the team to save someone who endangers said team).

So you should have had "Gags matter", "Suit level matters", "Suit level and gags matter", "None of the above". Something to that affect.

I voted "no", but what I stated above is how I really feel.

I'm not going to vote, but I will state what I will do. If there are 8 people there ready to go, I will board with anyone and not look to check laff or gags and I dont care about the suit. If the load is going to go short (with 5 or less) I will check gags. I won't not go because of someones gags (unless they have none) But I will check gags so I know what I am going to be working with on my side. When going short, it helps knowing who has what gags to come up with a better strategy.

I would have to say it depends on my mood... Not the most consistent player! Most of the time, it's a surprise when I get in there - I don't really care about suits and rarely look at gag levels. My actual skill level (in my opinion) is somewhere between my two toons so I don't judge other players by their toon. I prefer to run with toons that can take a hit and have decent gags but it's not completely necessary. Yes, I do go sad quite often, but I have fun at it. :D

When I go into the VP lobby I will scan the crowd for those that get shuffled and I will check their gags to see if they have no gags or need a major toon up. If I walk in and there is 7 CC1 in there I have no problem jumping on the elevator with them. THey have just as much right to fight the VP as I do. And I remember when I was a CC2 with almost maxed gags and 100+ laff. I couldnt get the time of day in there. That is until I Found my stratics Family. Since then I have maxed VP with help from Stratics Members and also every level of toon with a Sellbot suit.

Give toons a chance. They might fool you. You never know if the toon you help is a 2nd or 3rd generation toon. That toon might have 1 to 5 MAXED toons and just starting over with a new toon.

ooh one more thing. UBER's ROCK in VP battles!

Too bad I am not couragious enough to try it.

I scan for gags. I don't mean if you have good ones or not. I look to see if you even have any. I can't stand toons that come in with barely any gags or drastically low in laff. I don't care if you are a 120 laff toon. If you are down to 80 laff I won't board with you. If you don't have the respect of your fellow players to at least bring gags or get a toon up then you aren't worth my time.

Personally, I love going in with all CCs. As long as they are ready to go, Im ready to help them. It is a lot of fun to help them get a win. CCs are a most grateful bunch and still really enjoy the game.

Would you go with uber? If he has toonup and thow and squirt maxed? I have gone with at least one toon that was under 25 laff and guess what. We won that Vp battle.

Those who are Ubers generally have an idea of what they're doing. You have the occasional idiot but for the most part, they know the importance of teamwork and have learned time and again how to play smart.

Not only would I go with one, I worked one all the way through sell just like that. Well, I didn't max toonup til I was midway through the holly levels but still...

Sure. I have a 15 laff uber though I haven't worked her yet. One day she will get that wedding cake then go fight the vp. LOL!

There are a few things that make me hesitate. I check their gags, but I really hesitate going with someone who is going to need a toon up right off because, to me, it shows that they are an inconsiderate and probably selfish player. Also, I wont be the only HW going with all short changers with low laffs. I spend the whole time doing toon ups instead of taking out cogs. An uber is an exception to that, but even they will be needing TU if they are the one stuck with the 3 low ones. Other than that though, I have no problem taking shorties. I don't care if they have 7's, so long as they are carrying cakes and t-storms, etc. I don't think I've ever used a 7 in the VP.

In the end, like someone said, there is a whole lot more to it than suit size or gags.
