General Fey Slayer Book Does Not Work on Fairy Dragon After Patch.

The Fey Slayer book used to work on fairy dragons before the patch; after the patch, I noticed that it does not work anymore while farming for essences and fairy dust.

Also, while on the subject, is the fey slayer book should also work on dreadhorn, shimmering effusion and its spawns, and travesty and the changelings? They're all fey but the book does not work on them.

Edit: my mistake, I got confused with dragon slayer, which still works, however though, my question is still why doesn't the fey slayer work on these mobs?
