Where do you get:
cursed artifacts?
Alacrity scrolls?
Talismans? ( like +ex tailor )

Where are the peerless things?

If you stay at gauntlet for 6-8 hours/day, top damage, decent luck, how often you get arties? ( about )
( This q is becouse i heard they changed something in there )

I hear everywhere about changes to BOD system that were horrid, but cant find those changes anywhere? What did they do?

This are just from top of my head..

I would appreciate if someone could answer. Im returning player, 2000-2003 and now back.. Game certainly has changed, but so far im likeing it.

I will take a shot at answering:

Where do you get:
cursed artifacts? can not get anymore, from an event(you can still buy them off player vendors)
Alacrity scrolls? can not get hem anymore, from an event (you can still buy them off player vendors)
Talismans? ( like +ex tailor ) are gotten from completing quests in heartwood, it random when you get them and random what and how strong they might be.

there are also a few talismans that you can get by donating to the britain library but these are different from you original question.

Where are the peerless things? kind of like a super boss in an instanced dungeon, you need a group of people to do them.

doom system is now based on points, you get x amount of points per creature, and the points add up, when you get to z total points you get an arty drop. so the more creatures you get damage on/kill the faster you will get arty drops.

Are you confusing BoS (bags of sending) changes with BOD (bulk order deeds) changes? Because the BOD changes were good, the BoS changes for many players stunk.

Cursed artifacts were a drop in the Magincia event. No longer spawn.

Alacrity scrolls were a drop in the Candle of Love event. No longer spawn

Talismans drop off ML bosses and they are also rewards in the Heartwood quests. A teleporter to the city of Heartwood is located in the middle of Yew.

The peerless monsters are in the ML dungeons. Blighted Grove and Twisted Weald just to name a few.

As for Doom I don't have a clue

We had some changes to BODs that bumped up the chance for better BODs so I would not call that horrid.
