Female Hide Chest Armor?

Sorry in advance if this question is entirely inane. I have a female hide chest piece on which the description reads 'Female Hide Chest Armor'. I have no idea how I have it, as I have never looted one nor are they craftable. Anyone know what this is and where it comes from?

Maybe it came as a reward from doing an ML quest? I vaguely remember Ryna mentioning a long time ago something about being able to recieve some kind of female armor that wasn't craftable from doing those quests.

If it has properties, it's a reward from one of those boxes.
If not, it's one of the pieces that comes when you make a female elf character (warrior, maybe?).

No one seems to really notice, so it's probably not worth too much.
