I'm tired of hearing how felucans are "better" than trams. I play both and I can say that the only difference is that now days most of the new fels are nothing like the old school players. We respected each other. The new "gen" are a bunch of arrogant adolescents.

That would be because the new "gen" doesnt know how to respect others the old players knew how to and knew how to actually play pvp the new ones dont. running up to someone killing them looting them then waiting for them to get rezed then killing them again isnt true pvp. my opinion thats all

I'll agree with everything you said BUT I know many adolescents who play video games and mmorpgs and are very respectable. It is both adults and kids who do this. And it is annoying.

I don't know what old school you were in, but I saw little of this "respect" in the pre-trammel days of UO.

But you have a point, nobody is better than anyone else in UO.

I mainly play in Fel. I dont think im better than anyone else in game... Its a game to me still. But this is one reason I rarely talk to anyone in game than isnt in my guild or alliance...

Some pvpers are and some pvpers arent. You really have to be in the fel/pvp scene for awhile to learn what it really is like there. The pvp guild im in are all adults and they act that way. We use vent. We talk like normal while pvping. Its all about the action. You know what I lose when I die in pvp? Well insurance ooo a measly 3500 gold. no biggie. Potions and aids. Like they cost alot. Some carry regs. Still not much lost there. Maybe a trapped box. Those are cheap. Thats about it for me. Some people carry orange petals or apples. Bottom line is. Dont need much more than that to pvp and then little lost.

Now if you think removing insurance or something in fel will knock down egos? If they do remove it. If you step into fel you would see the same stuff you see now. Remove their gear and they are still good pvpers.

nope your lobbying to remove insurance so you can grief players with your thief again...

there where loads more respect among players back pre AOS and even more pre trammel.. but non where given to thiefs ..... Well maybe to a very few cool ones like Adam Ant , but he didnt play a gate/bank hugging snooping griefer

I play in both worlds. Prefer Fel for the PvP/Spawns, but PvP has gone down hill and not as many PvPing anymore. A lot of fake pansy PvPers nowadays running 3rd party programs to aid them in PvP. That isn't PvP at all.

I'm guessing there is this beef between the two facets because one wants to nerf the other and vice versa. Trammies want the rewards like in Fel, but to be safe from PKs. Fel doesn't want any of that. And so on and so on...

If they remove it from Fel then they better remove it from Tram and everywhere else also. Now I live in Fel and I pvp. Even got a couple reds. But I'm not lobbying to remove any insurance. If they removed insurance eveyone would revert back to the old days. Running around with a bag of regs, aids, pots, and a gm made weapon. Pvpers dont want insurance removed. We would rather get 4k insurance from the person than regs, aids, pots, etc. Then loot the uninsured aids, regs, pots, etc. Insurance actually nets more loot.
